Homeward bound..

 This is the dash of the rental car, a Nissan Qashqai(???) Yep, 71 mpg out of a 1.5L turbo diesel.

I think in the US this is called a Rouge. It was a really nice car.

Our Canadian layover was a challenge due to North American Customs and Icelandair 

slowly unloading bags. We had to run to the gate to make the flight!!

....we made it to San Francisco thinking the rental car desk had closed!
